Leave the ball at the starting point and roll straight. To make this easier, change the controls to the flip phone option so you can just flip the phone to roll the ball straight instead of trying to do it with your finger. Flip phone/tap and hold option to curve the ball is the most accurate option.

That ball is part of the droid theme for that bowling alley. It will give you energy depending on your device battery level. For example, if your device is at 86%, then you will get 86 energy per strike. Works on all lanes not just Andoid Alley.

Mimic is a bowling ball in the More Balls category. To bowl 20 or more times using Mimic in a single game, you have to 1) have unlocked and purchased the ball with game tickets, 2) make sure that you don't roll any strikes during that game, and 3) use Mimic for every throw that game. If you don't get a strike, you get two rolls in the frame. So, if you use the Mimic ball, without getting any strikes, you should roll 20 times (or more) with Mimic in the game. Just don't expect to also place first that game. Go back and try to get first place using a normal strategy in another match.
