Unlock Time Attack Mode:

When you have inserted your coin press A + B + Start simultaneously.

Unlock Secret Character:

At the 'Title' screen when you have inserted you coins quickly press Down, Up, Right, Left, Up, Down, Left, Right. If the code has been entered correctly you will hear a confirmation sound. This ship cannot use bombs or the Charge shot but by pressing B you can switch between the different shot types.
