Anime Origins tips

• Place characters around corners

Try to place your characters where the enemy path bends or comes close to another part of the path. This can keep enemies in range for longer. It is especially useful for characters with cone or area attacks.

• Bring a character that can hit flying enemies

Ground characters cannot deal with flying enemies if they cannot target them. Make sure your team has a character that can attack flying enemies before starting a stage where they appear. Akeno is useful for this because she can provide flying-enemy coverage.

• Use Bulma for extra money

Bulma can generate extra money, but don't place her before your defence is ready. Get enough damage down to survive the early waves first, then use Bulma to help pay for your later upgrades.

• Place Shinobu early

Shinobu uses poison damage over time. Place her near the start of the enemy path so enemies have more time to take poison damage as they travel through the map. Don't wait until the end of the path to place her if you can get her attacking earlier.

• Don't try to buff Toji

Toji cannot receive buffs, so don't waste a support ability on him. His own passive gives him bonuses to damage, penetration and critical chance. Use your support characters on characters that can actually benefit from their buffs.
