Once you have boots on the ground don't go rushing off looking to get kills. Your first priority is to make sure you have got the basic equipment which includes a backpack, armour, medkits, and most importantly a weapon. Remember that helmets and armour will allow you to take less damage per hit, medkits will enable you to heal up when your health is low and backpacks will let you carry more items and ammunition.
