How can I place things (like the Castle) in storage?

You click on the icon just above the word "storage" and a menu will come up. At the top is the "place in storage" choice. Click on this and you can touch whatever you want to store and it will go into storage. Be careful because "place in storage" mode is active for everything you touch until you stop it (upper left - click the X).
On the bottom right corner of the screen is the "blue direction arrows" icon right next to the Market Cart icon. Click the "blue direction arrows" icon and a new menu screen will pop up. The left icon on this new menu screen lets you put things into storage.
