How to get?

I took so long to figure out how to deal with the woman in the tent that my people's fun got too low, and now the guy who is supposed to open the gate to get into the office won't do it. The only way to increase his fun is to get into the office and get the guitar strings! I am stuck unless I pay for gems to buy my way out of it. Ugh. I wish there was another way. Is there another way? I cannot be buying imaginary gems for imaginary people who are in imaginary trouble.

Simply click on your iPad on the bottom left of your screen, then click on the GPS tab to select a level / map. Go back to the beach to replenish your fun using the swing / bench.
