In the very first chapter, when I try to combine fire and water, nothing happens....both elements shake, but will not combine into alcohol. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have "Kids safe mode" turned on? Turn it off, kids can't use alcohol.
When I mix water and fire together nothing nothing happens. What am I doint wrong?
