Almost invincible hints and tips for Final Fantasy VI

Boost your magic evasion to 255% and you'll block pretty much every attack thrown your way. Here's how I do it:

I typically use Edgar. I take the ragnarok sword instead of the esper (I know, a big loss but IMO worth it) and then bet it at the colloseum to win the Illumina. SAVE before doing this as it's not an easy battle. Next, break the curse on the cursed shield to get the paladin shield or use a force shield. Also equip the force armor and a relic of your choosing. There may be other combos of weapons and armor, but this is what I've found works.

You will now block all physical attacks and almost all magic attacks.
