You can either sell equipment that is not useful for gold or use it when upgrading to make a character more powerful. |

You can earn more gems by completing Achievements, you can also earn them along with gold by watching the occasional story segment for the first time. |

Always assign characters to go on expeditions as this will earn you extra Experience and items when they are completed. The characters sent on expeditions don't actually leave the party and can still be used in combat. |

Use the skills you soldier earns that allow you to attack multiple enemies at the same time as these will enable you to weaken targets simultaneously. |
