Crates can be purchased using either the gold or Diamoand currencies. The crate you should target is the Diamond Crate as it can instantly unlock new heroes when you open one. To purchase a Diamond Crate costs 2,590 Diamonds and buying 10 at one time will guarantees you will get a new hero.
