You can earn free rides and swap cash by connecting to Facebook, even if you have no friends playing the game it is still worth linking your account as you will be rewarded 3,000 bonus coins for doing so. If afterwards you decide you do not want to be linked to Facebook you can unlink it and still keep the cash.
