Use the Wooden Spoon Booster for Gingerbred Men

Gingerbread Man is a blocker in Cookie Jam which can be bothersome as it continuously tries to climb up the board and cause problems. The best and easiest way to deal with it is to use the wooden spoon booster which is capable of crunching a single cookie of your choice. To use the wooden spoon booster you simply have to tap on it's icon and then tap the cookie you wish to get rid of. The Gingerbread Man blocker will first appear in Cookie Jam when you reach Level 5.

How to get Rid of Waffle Pieces Without Power Up's

There will undoubtedly be instances where you will have waffle pieces that are surrounding a certain cookie piece making it difficult to clear from the board. If you do not have a booster to call upon in these situations they can be tough to get rid of. What you need to do is match three or more cookies around them, but make sure the pieces you match up are the same color as the ingredient encased in those waffle pieces.

Start at the Bottom of the Board First

As with most match 3 puzzle games you should always start at the bottom of a board first. If you start at the top of the board you are less likely to get combos because fewer pieces are moved around all at once. Whereas if you clear out cookie ingredients on the bottom portion of the board it will cause the cookies from the top to cascade down the board and potentially create more matches which will help you to clear the stage faster.

Save your Rolling Pins for Corners

Rolling pins are a booster in Cookie Jam that will clear an entire row of ingredients in one go. To use it you simply have to tap the rolling pin and then tap the row you wish to clear. This is a valuable booster which you should resist using to finish a certain type of ingredient and instead save for the troublesome corners and crevices that can not be reached easily. More often than not you will find a rolling pin will come in useful when you have a waffle in the corner that is hard to match.

How to get Free Lives

You can continue to play Cookie Jam providing you have the lives available. If you run out of lives and don't want to wait for them to replenish or spend real money buying them you can obtain them free by performing the time change trick. To do this you must quit the game and access your device's settings in order to change the time forward a few hours. When you then return to Cookie Jam you will now have new free lives. Remember once you have finished your session to put the time on your device back to normal again.
