The best strategy in the early stages of the game is to upgrade your buildings to maximum capacity, research new troops, and clear the land. Then when you have established your base begin to fortify the buildings, starting with the Supply Depot and Command Bunker.

Make sure that you upgrade your Factories whenever possible so you are able to maximise resource production.

The first thing you should focus on is upgrading the Command Bunker as doing so will enable you to unlock new buildings and access more resources.

In the early stages of the game it is more beneficial to focus on getting more resources and not medals.

Select opponents that only have a few medals as they will be easier to defeat.

Do not wait until the protection expires before you attack, start attacking as soon as you have the Barracks and 18 soldiers trained so you are able to get resources and build your base quicker.

When you have sufficient resources research new troops in the Command Bunker to gain access to them. Research takes a lot of time so it is best done the same time you upgrade.
