American Truck Simulator Cheats and Tips

Below is a list of locations in California and Nevada where you can find dealerships. Dealerships are open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. To 6:00 p.m.

California

Bakersfield: Peterbilt

Los Angeles: Kenworth

San Diego: Peterbilt

Nevada

Elko: Kenworth

Reno: Peterbilt

The following procedure involves editing a game file so it is advised that you create a copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the 'config ' file in the 'My DocumentsAmerican Truck Simulator' directory. Change 'uset g_developer '0'' to 'uset g_developer '1'' and change 'uset g_console '0'' to 'uset g_console '1''. Then press the '~' (tilde) key during gameplay to display the console window and enter the following codes to activate the corresponding effect.

Teleport to Indicated Coordinates:

Enter 'goto ('x'; 'y'; 'z')'

Teleport to Indicated City; Press (F9) to Teleport your Truck:

Enter 'goto (city name)'

Create Saved Game:

Enter 'save'

Set Flycam Speed:

Enter 'g_flyspeed (number)'

View Frame Rate:

Enter 'g_fps (number)'

Toggle Police Penalty:

Enter 'g_police (0 or 1)'

Set Time:

Enter 'g_set_time (number)'

Set Weather:

Enter 'g_set_weather (number)'

Toggle Traffic:

Enter 'g_traffic (0 or 1)'

Toggle Full Screen:

Enter 'f_fullscreen (0 or 1)'

Toggle VSync:

Enter 'r_vsync (0 or 1)'

Hold down the indicated keys on the keyboard while selecting 'New Game' to enable the corresponding effect.

Access Bonus Game:

Hold B + N key

Access New Game +:

Hold P + L key

To perform this glitch refuel your truck at a service station and then save the game and exit. Then when you resume from your saved game and drive away from the service station you will notice you will not have been charged for the fuel.
