Find Talon on the side of the castle and interact with him (either "talk" or "check"). Then head back towards the town and you will see Malon, talk to her and she will give you an egg. Allow one day (in game) to pass and it will hatch. Take the cuckoo to the sleeping Talon and use it. Talon will wake up and run away. Push the milk crates over the edge onto the ledge below. Jump of of the crates onto the little landing and crawl through the hole the water is comming out of. NOTE: You can only navigate the castle during the day and before getting the last spiritual stone.
(I am giving directions based off of the N64 version, and if it's any different just ignore this comment)
Talk to Malon on the road to the castle and get the weird egg. Wait a day in-game (which by the time you get to Talon it will be a day) and climb the vines beside Malon and onto the hill. Climb onto the gate and jump off of the back. Walk up the hill directly in-front of the flowers. (if you don't you will be caught) Once you are passed those guards run over to the small ridge and climb up. Jump into the moat and swim to the far corner and climb up. Wake Talon with the chicken and push the crates onto the shelf by the water.(One onto of the other) Climb up and jump into the drain in the wall. Crawl through. That's where my help ends, as you will have to get through the next part by yourself.
