Question for Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition

LINKING COMBOS

In some Trials I've played, My combos just won't link Fast enough(Light, Medium, and Heavy Attacks)

Ex: when I try doing a Light Punch with a Heavy Kick, they never link Fast enough causing Dan to Guard

Any tips on how to do Trials such as:
Stand L Punch + Stand H Kick
Stand L Punch + Crouch H Kick
Etc.

You have to press the buttons BEFORE the frame animations so they can combo, timing is the key don't give up!
