How do you kill the mages in rune prana when the walls are block

I need to find venti and when I went to rune prana, I needed to kill the enemies in certain rooms to unlock switches and one of the rooms have walls surrounding you and mages are on the other side. I really need to beat this part and it's impossible

I know some spells have a longer range and can go through the blocks, such as Avenger Rock.
Long range weapons can hit them, but if your good weapon isn't long range then you can use Glitta Augite (which increases range) to upgrade your weapon. I upgraded my axe using one and then used a 10-fold Steel to make it much longer. (Glitta Augite can be found from chopping shining trees and 10-fold Steel is rarely dropped from Mineral Squeeks at Leon Karnak)
Also another solution, if you have Twin Attack, is to hug the walls as close as you can to the monsters and attack them. I would have to wait for the mages to come around the corners to hit them.

You need a long-ranged weapon, any type of Spear; maybe. Object X could work, too. To make that, it's just a failed attempt at mixing medicine with the chemistry set.

Try using a silence ring with a long range weapon, It disables their magic.
