I found redfish in the Texas coast. Bait that I used was the Mullet. They’re heavy so use a rod that will withstand 14 lb plus. They’re difficult to be lucky enough to bite but the mullet is the only bait I’ve found to actually get one.

Spinnerbait, 200lb rod and reel (to avoid other fishing breaking your tackle)
