How to get your dog faster at lure coursing and fast?

I have been training my dog nonstop at the gym, I take it to the park, both of them. I have been doing it for days and it is not getting faster any help?
It also walks in contests and the lure is not that far away. It also has a active personality.

Well, try feeding it formula and diet food. Your dog might be plump. Try to get it to ideal.

One of my dogs are slow, and I've been training him for a long time, yet he's at ideal. The lure isn't far away from my dog in races, either. I don't think the status is very important unless somebody's puppy is usually very fast and says that the pup is plump or fat, which I think causes the pup to become slow.

Make sure to feed it a well normal diet of water aND diet food, or wet food and water depending on if it's plump or skinny. Also train 20 minutes everyday, possibly even longer if you want. Soon it will pay off, just takes time Smile
