The Pain's Camo

How do I get The Pain's camo? I have already defeated him with tranquilizers but am unable to get to it. I go to the ledge and try jumping and snake just falls down into the water like a rock.

You need to roll off the ledge to land atop the rock.

U have to get as close the the edge of the cliff as possible then do a roll
