When you scan the following amiibo's you will unlock the corresponding bonus.

Kirby amiibo:

Ultra Sword Hat. The description reads: 'A well-made replica of the hat that’s tied to a legendary planet-cleaving sword.'

Qbby amiibo:

Qbby Cap. The description reads: 'This mysterious headwear can supposedly bend boxes to it's will.'

Waddle Dee amiibo:

Cafe Cap. The description reads: 'This cap is worn when working in a certain cafe Stylish!'

King Dedede amiibo:

Masked Dedede Mask. The description reads: 'This mask is said to contain mighty power. Looks seriously scary!'

Meta Knight amiibo:

Galacta Knight Mask. The description reads: 'This headgear looks like a legendary warrior with powers of great destruction.'

When you complete the following tasks you will unlock the corresponding character.

Defeat him in the Sword Tournament. He has the Sword combat style.

When you complete the following tasks the corresponding bonus stage will become unlocked.

Successfully complete the game on Hard mode. The hazards are cannons.

Door Maze Stage:

Play the game 150 times. The hazards are stage will periodically change.

Fountain Of Dreams Stage:

Complete the game with Kirby. The hazards are stars.

Halberd Stage:

Complete the game with Meta Knight. The hazards are Meta Knight minions.

Kirby's House Stage:

Complete the game 100%. The hazards are no enemy threats.

Moon Stage:

Complete the game. The hazards are no enemy threats.
