have built ghost zapper, when i choose the ghost, select 'capture with ghost zapper', my sim points the zapper at the ghost shoots a ray thing then nothing...ghost still there..nothing happens. have repeatedly tried to zap the ghost. any ideas?

To get a cat to catch a ghost you have to improve his hunting skill to six or seven (cant remember which) or you could improve your sims inventing skill to four and invent the ghost zapped. You must go to invent on the workbench. Once you have invented it you can make it by going to make. To capture the ghost you must simply click on it and click capture with ghost zapped.

To all my fellow simers you can find the inventing table in build and buy mode. You place it where ever you want it to be. Now you have it,so therefore you can leave build and buy mode. Now click on the inventing table and click on invent. Your pulchritudinous sim(beautiful sim)is now learning the inventing skill. Get to level four in the inventing skill, when you get to level four you can now invent ghost zapper. I hope that helped you all. Thanks and send me a friends request on xbox. Gamertag SyberGirlz616. You buy the invetion table in bulid/buy mode. You go under buy, entertainment, hobbies and skills and it will be the last item to buy. You can place it any where on your lot. Then you can find or buy scraps and you just read books for you skill to go up. Then all you do is when you reach level four, you can invent it. Your sims will put it in their inventory and then go by a ghost, and click on capture ghost and the ghost will be in your inventory. And no, you can not buy it. : ) hope I helped : >

To get it out of inventory go into fanily inventory in buy and build mode go into one of the selections and pick your invention then place it on your lot wherever.
