How come my rashberry wont eat any pumpkins I've made the rotten so it's soft?

Sometimes it has to be a specific time of day and sometimes it has to be fertalized, you have to play around with it I was having trouble with my duck because he would only eat the basic flower and it had to be in the right spot
The pumkin one is wrong don't listen to other peeps. This is right...
First feed the pig 1x rotten hazzel nut, 1x rotten goose berry & 1x rotten chilli. (easy way to rott fruit is to tap it with your shovel).
Then get a swan & feed it 3x water lillys & give it a dimond choker necklace.
Now go to willy the builder & buy a "mistery house" then just get the pig & swan to eat a joy sweet then tell them to romance with each other :D
