I get bart to tinker with an item, but when he comes, he goes back to his shop again!whats wrong?

When he is done there will be a ribon on to box then swack it with your shovel

It depends what your trying to tinker first of all and if you've pick bronze silver or gold, remember not all things can be tinkers and some may need gold to be successful. Also make sure he can get to the item if the path is blocked he'll just go away!!

Try and make sure nothing is blocking his path. Also, tinker on gold, just to be sure(:
