In bolivia and I'm new to the game I came to some water and don't know what I'm looking for or where to go it like a dead end in the water help me someone

If you're at the bit I think you are, then you dive into the water, and through the cave, come up for air at the first oppertunity, grab the reward (behind the boulder) and dive back down, make sure you don't go the way you came, and you will then come up on the other side, with squashy walls, and use the cage with the monkey skull to stop the walls squishing you.
