Question for Tomb Raider: Legend

How do you release the water to get the water wheel turning. I am up in the chamber with the water dammed to one side and a raft on the side with no water. I've placed the steel box to hold down the one pressure mat to unlock that side but to the other side there is nothing to place on the pressure mat. Any help?

Alright I answered this one myself. For others reading though, you step on the mat then jump acoss the turning platform "fast" to pull the reflective stone with your grappling hook. I am starting to overthink this game.

When you have opened the right side you have to go across to the left and stand on the floor trigger untill you see the catch has fully opened then jump on to the turning platform then on to the middle platform before the atch closes and use you're grapple to pull the statue forward if you understand what I mean !!

Actually, you don't even have to go all that fast... If you wait til' it stops turning there is plenty of time to get in front of the dude with the arms and grapple the thing to pull them down... Just sayin' so you don't have to rush and end up falling down 80 times like I did lol...
