Architect-how do you remodel town by editing all buyable lots/does that include the houses you have to unlock?

That is not quite how it works - you can place specific structures but you cannot resize or alter the town in the way you are describing.

It does not work like that - you can insert special building types but you cannot substantially alter a town layout.

After you edit each lot by clicking on them and pressing edit you should move some walls and sell some stuff in each one then when you go back home all of the windows and doors will be gone you have to go to build and buy and click on each empty space for them to replace themselves and once you've done that you will get the achievement I know it's late but I Just got it.!
