Question for The Sims 3 Pets
Help! My dog on sims 3 pets went out to "fetch something to awesome " and when he came back he never brought anything with him and is now stuck in fetch mode. It will not let me select it's character because it says that he is still out fetching something when he is quite obviously not. I tried to use transmogrify to change him too a sim since sims obviously can't fetch but it said invalid target when I tried to use it. So I'm stuck. It let's me use super satisfy on him so he stays happy but I don't want a dog that I can't even play the game with! Someone please help if this has happened to you too! I have a cat too so I don't want to turn on pet aging kuz they'd both die I don't know what to do!

The exact same thing happened to me. All I did was select my sim and command the dog to go fetch something awesome again, and when he came back I could select him. =)

Yeah, I have the same issue, I even tried moving and still nothing. (didn't save it of course was just a test)but I also have a cat and can't speed animal aging as well, so I'm a try and kill the dog, as cruel as that sounds I'm a do the old fashion fireplace stuff small room trick. (a.k.a make a small room not attached to your actual house add a fireplace and put a rug as close ass possible to the fireplace and fill the room with as much chairs or flammable stuff. Then lock the sim inside by getting him in there and removing the door) it seems I can still interact with my dog with other sims so I'm a just call pet him in the room then remove my sim the remove the door and it'll die soon. Thats hoping the fireplace trick still works in Sims 3 pets. If not he'll die of natural causes eventually.

I actually tried just locking the pet in a room and using the curse on it but social services showed up and took both my pets away...I would've been happy if it was just the dog but why both?! man they screwed me over...sigh...let me just hurry and get my cat to do the nasty to get a litter of cats for I can speed up the time then...>.>

Well mines is kinda simaler my cat is invisible and I love all my sims and the house ect but I just want to be able to see my cat without delteing and starting again someone please help me :(

Hi guys I don't no if anyone still play's this game or not but my fiancee has had the same thing also happen to him *told the dog to go fetch something awesome* then all of a sudden when the dog came back he could not interact with it, or even click on it. Unfortunately it seems the only way to fix this is to ask some one else to move in then kick your dog out into there family making him vanish other then that there seems to be no other way to fix this problem.

Just quit and start again or make them do it again it happened twice to me before and I tried them and it worked
