You Have to go to build and buy mode and go to "buy" then go to the "entertainment" section and go on "hobbies and skills" and there should be a invention table but you have to be at least 3 skill of invention to build a ghost zapper.

I can only find on the sims 3 PETS now it disapeard in the sims 3 Is this a trick?Guest answered:
How to get a ghost zapper:
1. Go to 'Build & Buy' on options
2. Open the catalog and press 'Buy'
3. Go to 'Entertainment'
4. Go to 'Hobbies and Skills'
5. Buy the invention table called 'Scraptronic Workbench'
6. Make your sim use it and keep pressing 'Dabble' until the option 'Invent' appears
7. Keep inventing until you reach 'Invention Skill level 4'
8. Go to the invention table then you will be able to make the 'Ghost Zapper'
ENJOY (Hint: You can also use a cat to capture ghosts as long as it has 'Hunting Skill level 7')

Just keep pressing invent until you make it that what I did on level 2. 😂

Go on build and buy then buy the only table there is then keep pressing dabble till it says invention then let your sim keep working until you reach level 4

It's easy, go to build and buy and find skills then you can find inventing table you can invent then soon you will get the ghost zapper. GOOD LUCK
