Do you gotta kll the darkness cause on other questions I heard sumtin like when darklings come after ya you shoot them and you gotta kill the aliens is it true plz an$wer thanx!!

You can't kill The Darkness. You can subdue him by giving up your powers (you get them back, so don't worry) and then shooting the crap out of him (don't hold back, as you'll lose all your weapons afterwords)
