what do you do after you beat Silver with Sonic

I'm stuck on the part after you beat Silver because I don't know where to go. :(

If my memory serves me right, you go to the New Town area which is the area that has big buildings, and go to the harbor. There you'll find Knuckles, and you get access to the next stage. Hope this helps you out.
