The treasures are everywhere in the game. But the best way to get them is by killing lickers,those fat majinis,and reapers.

There are 50 treasures in the game and can be found by killing enemys,treasure chests,shooting them off of walls,ceilings,in animal skulls,and in fires,and in large rock tumbs

Well I'm not going to type where all of the treasure locations are but if you go to walkthroughs right here in supercheats you'll find one with all the treasure locations. It helped me hope it helps you.
