With the newer versions of Need For Speed, using cheats or buying different packages via Xbox Live is a little different than the older versions.

Just like it is in Need For Speed Carbon, when you purchase say, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, it doesn't automatically go right into your garage because that package goes to the hard drive and it doesn't know whether or not your garage is already full, the same thing goes for the larger packages that include eight to ten new cars. Instead, just jump to one of the car lots and when you enter that you can search through the car database there and when you find your car, it should have all the information on it but the cost should be zero since you unlocked it or purchased it from Xbox Live. Either way, just select buy car and it will go straight to your garage.

Performance parts will automatically go into the creator kits for you to tune to your liking but they won't automatically go onto the car you purchased it for. Like the packages, it won't cost you any money because you used the code or bought it off of Xbox Live.
