How do I unlock the villian and hero packs? Are they downloadable or what??

ANSWERS

 
The hero and villain packs were available for download from the X-box Live Marketplace. They have been removed and reinstated only to be removed again. This time Activision stated they are removed for good. The only way to acquire the "new" characters (Hulk, Hawkeye, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Magneto, Sabretooth, Dr. Doom, and Venom) is to find a copy of the Gold Edition that was released after the original debuted. This version has the hero and villain packs unlocked on the disc.

I really want THese heroes/villains but sadly, my mom says that since I already have the game she will not buy me another copy, any way to get on the Wii?

But then what is the teaser pack available for free on the xbox live marketplace? I thought this would give me the characters. It seems unfair to tease players with packs of really cool characters and not even get t be able to use them. All I really care about getting is nighthawk and venom 0.o
