You don't save her because that would cause you to run out of time and lose the level(remember, the ship is going to explode) so you just ignore her and continue destroying those things that give you more time and then beating deathbird.

to save princess lilandra, you have to hit the computer over and over untill it breaks. then the things holding her in open. you should be sure to destroy to things that give you time so you will have time to destroy the computer and the four things to save the ship. use your special powers on the computer. it helps to have another player helping you.

To successfully save landra, you have to save her on your first pass.

It's relativly easy... As long as all plyers cooperate.

I recommend the level be handled by whatever 4 flight capable heroes, with the highest strike possible... Now, if you are playing single player, only one flier is required, tha being in the controlled player slot.

As soon as you enter the area where you have to destroy the big tubes, and attempt the rescue, have your flier ready, and be ready to ignore everything...

With flier in control... With either human controlled characters who can keep up, hence fliers working better. (relying on the games teleport players together will slow you down too much)... Or computer characters that will catch up on their own... Take off the very second you can, going after targeted X marks only. Destroy each target without hesitation, and move on the secon each target is gone. Fly to each target as directly as the route allows. I use Ms. Marvel because she can fly, and her prism power tends to get the job done in one shot each.

If playing with other human players, make sure they just focus on keeping up... Ignore all but the targets.

When you reach the room with Lilandra, hit the target there, then have the team immediatly focus on the computer. If on one player, command the team to be either Aggressive or Defensive. Both commands will have them attack whatever you focus on with ferocity... In this case, it being the computer... If playing with others, everybody attack fast and ferocious and unrelenting. The computer will go down quick enough, an you can attack the bonds holding Lilandra, freeing her.

Note: I don't recall having to hit more than the computer, but I could be having a memory gap.

Remember though, the initial mission is still active. When you free Lilandra, go hit the last X targets before time runs out. Afterwards it's safe to go talk to Lilandra, and go kill all the bad guys you rushed past.

When working as a unified team, saving Lilandra is a fairly simple task.
