cant open a door

On the grand staircase there is a door I cannot open there is a tube for an animal to climb in but when I do this nothing happens , there is a bell just to the left of the door has that got anything to do with it

Thats because there is suppost to be a boutton but you can only use it in a new game and you can only use it onece. Because you need scabbers and it only happens when you first get to Howarts

WANT YOU GOT TO DO IS THAT YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO THE FIRST PLAT FORM WITH THE PICTURE ON LOOK ON THE FOR A CIRCUL ON THE PLATFORM AND STAND ON IT AND PRESS CIRCUL A COUPLE OF TIME UNTIL THE STAIRS MOVE

Literally go upto the blue door up the next stairs and hit the door bell

If you still need help, you need to go up to the blue door before the stairs to Dumbledore and aim at the button and it should open. Forget about the thing with the rat tube it’s the next one up.
