I am trying to find the room of requirements, But after helping neville wit the devil snare he runs to the stairs on the sixth floor and then stops. What do I need to do to get him to take me to the room of requirements. Please help

Maybe he's getting stuck because you might have a dodgy disc.
Or you could make your own way up there and he might magically appear.
He should appear. Thats what I did. It is on the seventh floor. It will be a door that wasnt there before.
