Lower and raise weapon

How do you lower your weapon like the people do in the halo 3 machinima movies

RB+A+R3+LB+Down on D-Pad. That should be it. I done it before.

You can't, I'm sure that the Machinima movies are animated that way by the creator. In the game however the control is much different and you can only do so much as fire the gun and release the trigger to stop firing the gun. Lowering your weapon I'm sure wouldn't help you any in a battle and there isn't a need to need to lower your weapon.

If they wanted to lower the weapon they would have gave a control, but I am sure while your not shooting the place up or walking the weapon lowers automatically, but not by the controllers decision.
