what the hec is a meta-game
What and where are the meta-games cause I've searched every spot on all the menus and asked all my friends and I still have no clue what they even are

When your in the campaign menu, press x and it will bring up another menu where you can select which skulls you want to turn on and the option to activate campaign scoring (aka the Meta-game)

Just go to your dashboard and then go to halo3 and go all the way down until you reach the name Guriella. And from there on those are all the meta game achievements.

Meta-game is basically trying to get points in the campaign by killing enemies and finishing the level quickly, you can multiply scores by activating gold skulls.
