No, there aren't any cheats but there is a piece of equipment that makes you invincible, but it's very rare in the campaign.

I am sorry to have to tell you this, but, there is no cheat code for Halo 3 that will make you become invincible. If you want to beat the game on legendary difficulty, then you will just have to keep practicing your skills, and continue to get better. So, again, I am sorry, but there are no cheat codes for Halo 3 at all. If you ever see someone become immune to damage, then you know that they are hacking the game. Something that does not come without a price. Hope this helps.

No I believe there is no cheats for halo 3, only glitches. If you can't beat it try it with a friend who has done it and wants to help, or connect another control and leave him behind, so every time you die, you appear where he is.

No cheats sorry, if you want to beat it on legendary, I'd use a partner, me and my friend love playing on legendary!

Dude don't listen to them I got it the cheat is rb lb rt a x b y x a if you here a beep yeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa achivmaent here I come and make those covants pay ror what they did to keyes and it took me half a week to beat the game on legendary and if it makes things better do it by your self on a singl xbox 360 good luck :)?
