ANSWERS

The skulls are fun little easters eggs that some even have a purpose. They are divided into two different types, silver and gold. They both effect the gameplay of the game. Some make it more difficult, others make it fun. Gold skulls can be used to multiply your score in campaign. Siver are just fun. The gold also unlock achievements for xbox 360. For a lists of what they do and were they are, look under the cheats, user submitted cheats, or the user submitted hints.

Once you unlock all 13 skulls you also unlock the best looking armor, in my opinion anyway.

They're kinda like cheats if you activate them before you start playing (my favorite is when you kill the grunts they explode into confetti!). Also, if you get them all you unlock the Haybusa armor

Lol yea, I like the confetti one too. :P but anyways, each skull does something different, to make the game harder, or to make the game funnier. Ex: confetti skull! :P Also they unlock really cool armor! :]

Gold skulls gives you special abilites. Getting them all will get you an armor set.
