Date of Question: Apr 7 2009 | Question ID: 140738 I'm on the part where you are in the tank and in the cave. The part where you jump a ledge and your power goes out. The two spider things show up but when the third shows I die instantly. The setting is on hard. Whats going on? |

All three of them come out at the same time. You must have had bad luck at that time. They all come out at the same time. You should have no problem.

It's not necessarily that you have bad luck, they don't all come out at the same time. You'll see them light up in a certain order, the one in the middle will come forward first, so pop it in the face with the turret. The one on the right will come second, and the one on the left will come last. You got to make sure you kill them before they pound you with their claws because otherwise it's an instant death, as you might have already found out.

The one in the middle comes first, then the one on the right, then the one on the very left.
It only takes a few rounds to the face to get it to go away, so you can move through quickly.
I did this on insane with no problems, so as long as you are quick you should be able to do it.

Just shoot it in the head itll die. You don't "automatically" die.

The best thing to do or I can say to you is shoot them in the face, this is the most vulnerable spot on the Locust so I recommend fire there, make sure when they first start appearing shoot, if you don't you will die quick.
