Ultimate trick out

I've heard that it was possible to trick out the car, including engine, etc... And gift it to a friend and have him trick it out even more so it will be a beast. Is this true?

No. If you buy every upgrade for a car and gift it to a friend he will not be able to upgrade it because there would be nothing to add to it.
