Question for Fallout: New Vegas
How do you help Paladin Hardin find a way to dismissed elder McMamara from his postion? He keeps telling me to go talk to an elder by the name of Scribe Ibsen But all he wants his to isolate that damn virus " which is pissing me off " Plz help or I just might kill every body in the brotherhood of steel... Again.

Hey dude you have to do the virus thingy before you can progress. It is annoying but it can be done. The best place for fallout info is here http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas beware though as the website is a basic spoiler for the whole game. Also be carefull with this mission as I have heard that if you do not complete the elders missions before ousting him the game will giltch and you will not be able to progress with the brotherhood meaning no power armour from them. Learnt that the hard way and lost quite a few hours having to go back to a previous save. Although you can get power armour from somewhere else? Hope this helps.

Ive been trying too do the virus mission like a 100 times and I found all 3 partitions and thas all it says nothing more and I've gotten 85 on science and I havent found 1 virus isolation tab... Ughghgh help...

the only way I know is to have a 70 in science when you begin the initial discussion with ibson. You then partition the virus and talk to him again. You receive fame. Next talk to palidine ramos and he will grant you access to the secure info you need. Something that involves the chain that binds. After that just report everything that the current elder tasks you with.
