Question for Fallout: New Vegas

How to stop NCR troops from wanting to hunt you down and kill you?
I've done something to upset them can't remember what, now they're giving me warnings to do something good or else!...
I'm now at the point of 4 troopers hunting me down and killing me, but i want to keep them on my side.
What do i do to get back into their good books!!!

Oooh... not easy to do. The easiest way, I suppose, is to get all your past crimes against the NCR wiped away by doing the quest to get the Boomers to ally with the NCR. If you've already done that for them or for another faction, it's much tougher, if not impossible.
If you're on bad terms, a ranger should approach you and offer a 3 day grace period where the NCR won't attack you, and this will give you a chance to do some chores for them to raise your reputation. If this period expires, however, and you still have poor reputation, you've pretty much destroyed any chance of allying with the NCR, or at least getting them off your back.
