You still need to have the disk to pay it it only installs some of the files not all of them. It is only to make the game run faster and reduce ware and tear on the disk drive it does not allow you to save entire games onto your hard drive.

superbird5005 answered:

You have put to the disk in. Don't worry...it makes things better. The game loads faster, and your Xbox stays quiet...so it won't overheat.

GraemeM answered:

You do need the disk to play the game. Otherwise you could buy the game, install it to your harddrive, get your mates to do the same, then sell it back to the stall

imaloony8.0 answered:

Downloading it onto the Harddrive doesn't make it so you don't have to use a disk. That would take a massive amount of space on your harddrive. It just reduces load time and makes the disk have to spin less, meaning it gets scratched less often.

envoyofdoomsday answered:

It will also allow you to play a heavily damaged disc so long as the xbox can still read what game it is. I've done this so I could play my large cracked Halo 3 copy. It also allows faster loading time but requires a ton of space from you're harddrive.

KingofCorn answered:

Try re downloading your downloaded purchase
