Your dog changes appearance as you do. Being evil will make a big mean rottweiler, while being good will make it more fluffy and nice. Both kinds will have the same fighting ability.

No, I am sorry to tell you this, but you will not get a new or a different dog whenever your character changes. You keep the same dog throughout the game, and the only way that it changes is if you change any. If you make your character be a good person, then your dog will be a good dog. If you decide to make your character become an evil person, then your mutt will be evil as well. Dogs reflect the personalities of their owners. So, he will act as you act and be as you be. Personally, I myself plan to be a evil character, you do not have to listen to anyone, and can do pretty much anything that you want to without worrying about losing prestige points. This means that my dog will be a big guy. Hope this helps.
