It can be done through hacking, or through leveling up, fastest way to lv up is equip the riot shield and sit in front of a sentry gun with your back protected or complete gun challenges, I got to 2nd prestige after 6hrs of normal game play.

Level up by going on split screen and putting the max health on the lowest health.

That is a cool question because Unlocks are really a major focus of the game. To answer your question (and parts of it that you did not ask but that I am answering anyway in case other gamers reading this are also looking for the answers) mind the following:


Unlocking the Extra Custom Class Slot: Reach Level 70 in Multi-player and then transfer over to the Prestige Mode to unlock an additional Custom Class Slot for a total of six slots.

Unlocking all of the Camo Suits: Complete the level “Ghillie in the Mist” challenges to unlock the different Ghillie suits – which are the camouflage in the game... To accomplish that simply complete the following three challenges:

(1) Artic Camouflage: x50 one-shot kills with a sniper rifle.
(2) Urban Camouflage: x100 one-shot kills with a sniper rifle.
(3) Desert Camouflage: x200 one-shot kills with a sniper rifle.

Unlocking all of the Weapons in the Game: You can unlock the following weapons (basically all of the weapons in the game) by reaching the indicated Multi-Player Level next to each weapon that is listed below. Bear in mind that when a Level is listed it is the multi-player mode levels and NOT single-player. When a weapon is unlocked via the single-player story (campaign) mode that is also noted next to the associated weapon – but to unlock ALL of the weapons in the game you are going to have to play the multi-player side.

These are broken up by class of weapon, and be aware that probably the easiest path to doing this is to get a group together and boost levels, because otherwise this is going to take you months of regular game play – just saying...
