I had two questions
1.) How do you get the barriers off the chests?

2.)Whenever I get to the first boss, how do I defeat him? I weakened him with klukes spell, but then he killed kluke.

The answer to your 2nd qustion is change kluke's formation that that way she is out of the reach of his attack then weaken him and use shue's wind sword repeat this process until you defeat him.
