Question for Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation

Sometimes flying around, some of your enemies have green crosses through them and you can't lock on. If you can lock on to them PLEASE answer(One of the crosses was from the strigon people). Thanks

This is because you have an inappropriate SP weapon selected when trying to target them. Example: You have loaded bombs before the mission, and they are your currently selected ordinance while you are trying to target air units instead of ground-based units. Similarly, unless you have the standard missiles selected(as opposed to SP missiles), ground targets will be unavailable
